Question
I am interested in purchasing some type of spot free water system for external use like filling an outdoor garden fountain rinsing a car etc The gallon per day usage would be low and if there is some sort of inline system with water hose connections that would be my preference Any suggestions you have would be much appreciated
Answer
This is our specialty site for spot free water. http://www.spot-free-water.com/page.asp?id=173&title=How+To+Make+Spot+Free+Water Basically there is not filter you can put on a hose that consistently delivers spot free water for a reasonable price. Your best bet is a small reverse osmosis system into a storage bladder that you put a hose on to deliver spot free water where you want it. You are probably talking about $500-$600 to accomplish this.
