2510/16AIFB-10T-MG Iron Filter - Manganese Greensand - 6.0 g.p.m.

Features include Fleck 2510/1600 timer valves with PVC-injectors, environmental backplates and covers, 3/4 inch plastic yokes, blue polyglass tanks, basket distributors, manganese greensand, gravel bed and potassium solution tank. 

As a manganese greensand filter this device works best at a flow rate of 4 g.p.m.. It can be be operated as high as 7.0 g.p.m. but you may see some of the contaminents slipping through. 

The back wash rate during regeneration is 7 g.p.m.

Regeneration chemicals 

This water system recharges it self with a Potassium Permaganate solution. This iron filter comes complete with the exception of theregeneration chemicals. This system would holds 10 lbs which would last 6-8 months. Please order these separately.
